I enjoyed this book so much! It makes me sick the way the Native American were treated through out history, to think those type of people considered themselves the civilized ones is just plain disgusting. I am so ashamed of what my white ancestors did to my Native American ancestors it sickens me every time I hear or think of these stories. We could learn so much from these people, the family bonds they formed their work ethics the way they handled their responsibilities, the devotion they had for one another and their heritage is just amazing. It makes me so proud to have their blood running thru me, even if it is just a little bit of Cherokee, I am so proud of the people I am a part of. This book was so well written and researched I can hardly wait to read more of her works, thank you so much for what you do and sharing it with us, this one is right up there among the top of my reads. I will be searching for more of your work, thank you again.

Wind in the Grasses Dancing Dancing the Dream Series Book One edition by Terrie McClay Terry Susi Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Oh this was such a beautiful and interesting story I didn't want this one to end the real life character and the great and beautiful book I could have read this one forever. Their love each other the history and everything was so beautiful please write a lot more books like this one I would reag them forever and another fantastic author.
I have always been enchanted by native Americans, so to me this book was very refreshing. Finally I have read a version of the native American side of Custers Last Stand. It doesn't make me to proud of my white man heritage. I really like the style of this author. I think you will too.
I enjoyed this book more that I thought I would. Some very good research, although I could tell the author was biased toward the Native American side of the story. Some plot inventions were a little hard to believe, but the writing was very well done. If it weren't for some typos and misused words, this would have been a five star.
This was an awesome book with very accurate history. It was well written and factual. Hence the 5 stars. Love has no boundaries. True love is Devine. I would recommend this series to anyone that enjoys reading the true history of the fight for freedom by the Native Indians . I look forward to the next books in this series .
This is the first book in a trilogy! Well written! I have read countless historical romances. The history in a lot of those books is usually text book historical moments! But this book was much deeper! The historical moments in this book had both sides of the story especially personal experience, than just text book history! There was passion written into the historical moments, pain, laughter, freedom, progress, death, life, greed, hate, love and forgiveness!!!
I couldn't get beyond 3% of this book. The spacing was awful. Many words were double spaced and some appeared to be triple spaced. It was the endless and incorrect use of commas that made me throw in the towel. If an author takes the time to write a story, one would like to think he or she would take enough pride in their work to do one of two things--either hire an editor or buy a book on English grammar, and learn the rules.
This is the love story of an Indian and a pale face. Of course its forbidden love, but love none the less. The story is a great history lesson in the way our beloved Indians were so poorly treated in the past. The author goes into a bit too much detail (for my taste), with names, dates, places and frustrations. The bottom line is this is a sweet love story that has an incredible amount of history. It almost makes me ashamed to be a pale face, so much damage was done to the Indians. They sacraficed their land, their customs, their very lives on the word of our government, who ultimately sold them up the river. That part is so sad, so disappointing to read how poorly treated they were. Its a long story, but so worth the time.
